OBAMA HOPE
Thursday, July 24th, 2008A quick follow up from keith’s post about the OBAMA “HOPE” Poster auction, the auction ends today and the current bid is @ $108,000 which has far surpassed the estimated $30,000 value of the print. I hope this goes along way to helping all that Art for Life do.

A lil summin for friday
Friday, July 11th, 2008Well, I’m off on holiday for 2 weeks to france and then on to Benicassim Festival outside Valencia in search of some sun. With work almost wrapped up it’s time to kick start the weekend!
Street Art Noir - The Book

Came across this really nice looking book the other day, I’m definitely gonna add this to the collection!
What they say:
“The book was designed to take you on a visual trip - sort of a symphonic slide show - to evoke the rhythm and range of emotions of a “noir” film. The images are dark, urban, mysterious, sensual, at times frightening, all in a tongue-in-cheek, entertaining way. The images are based on street art photographed recently in American and West European cities. Though originally in full color, the images have been computer modified into high contrast black & white graphics, to increase their noir-ish impact.”
